THE JOURNEY STARTED IN 1994
The journey started in 1994 with a balloon printing machine, that time wissam akkawi was 2nd year architecture student.
In 1998, once graduated, he opened the first balloons
Decoration shop in beirut and fiesta balloons was the start!
Year 2000 he launched the first balloons school.
Year 2001 it was the decision to attack the event industry
And develop the know-how … where “fireworks” was the second challenge.
The 2004 was the 3rd turning point
By launching the first themed 3d workshop in beirut, and from lebanon to the gcc …

FIESTA is a distinctive project that was first launched in 1994, and it all started with a balloon-printing machine. Its success was never about the machine itself, neither the ink nor the balloons. It was always about a dream beyond limits. The diverse products and services, the mature concept, solid identity, and professional management and loyal team, are what distinguished Fiesta Holding and insured continuity. This in return led to the creation of a successful business.
Our reputation and driving force are always stemmed from; how deep we partner with our clients in achieving their goals. Honesty is the main factor in building the skyline of such partnerships; the trust of our clients, in return, will give us inevitable results. Undoubtedly, these results bring in all the desired planned outcomes.

FIESTA’S STORY OF SUCCESS, wasn’t a smooth journey, that success was stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm, that’s why when we approach failure with a positive attitude and a perspective of growth, we allow ourselves to turn it into a success. Every failure is an opportunity to adapt and change the way we do things so that the following result is better, whatever it may be. So returning quickly from disappointment requires strength and a development mentality. Embrace disappointment as a learning a valuable open door and continue to push ahead.
Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure. Always remember “Albert Einstein” words that turned to a quote : Failure is success in progress. So from my experience and point of view, do not only read success stories. You will get only message and sometimes frustration. Read failure stories. You will get some ideas to get success.
Inspirational honest and transparent success stories, where most talk about their journeys “FROM ZERO TO HERO”, remind us that no matter where we start in life, we have the power to transform ourselves and achieve greatness. Those stories are proof that with resilience, a willingness to embrace change, and the ability to learn from failure, anyone can go from zero to hero. So, don’t be discouraged by setbacks – use them as stepping stones on your path to success.
And moreover, some stories are edited well for marketing purpose in order to turn a businessman from entrepreneur to a Hero, it’s like similar to Social Media nowadays, where social media platforms often feature images of people with seemingly perfect faces, bodies, life style, love stories, often using filters and photo editing tools, and fake smiles, to enhance their appearance and social image, unfortunately this can create unrealistic beauty and life standards, leading to body dissatisfaction, low self-esteem, complaint and frustration about the way your life is with your partner, in both women and men.
So last but not least, my advice to every ambitious person, regardless of age:
I will start with my motto that has accompanied me throughout 30 years of success, failure, fatigue, crying, and celebration: DON’T WAIT FOR OPPORTUNITY, CREATE IT!
Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm … Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement.
Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground … Get a good idea and stay with it …
Do not stop thinking of life as an adventure … But keep in mind that perfection is not attainable …
Money is just a consequence, don’t worry too much about profitability. If you do your job well, the profitability will come.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon on 2 September 1974, married and has a 22 years’ old son, and 2 daughters 20 and 15 years old. Holding two Nationalities: Lebanese & Slovenian.
In year 1992, he was graduated from International College / IC – Beirut, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma / MASTER IN ARCHITECTURE from the Lebanese University in Beirut since 1998.

Today is FIESTA’s 30th anniversary. Celebrating a 30th-year anniversary milestone is a big achievement in itself. It’s a celebration for all who have been a part of the companies under the umbrella of this holding group through all those years. It is particularly gratifying to be celebrating this anniversary as the future for FIESTA HOLDING business looks so bright.
Today I reflect on all the incredible work our FIESTA Gladiators have done over these 3 decades, to achieve the impossible and deliver amazing projects and services that made an remarkable and important difference in the market.
I promise that in the year ahead, FIESTA will deliver more and better challenging projects and quality services in all our diversified industries. We believe we can become the most valuable and impactful professionals we can be in each business we established or going to be launched.
I would like to thank my great team in UAE, who has been directly or indirectly involved in the success of FIESTA.
